Sean Conway, 6-3, 280 pound offensive guard from Nashville-Father Ryan has had a busy fall. In addition to playing the majority of snaps on both the offensive and defensive lines he has been spending a lot of time learning about the two schools after him the most. Right now Conway is the target of two big Sun Belt conference rivals. The Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee and the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky have both been working hard to land Conway in their recruiting class.
This past weekend Conway took an official visit to Murfreesboro to visit Middle Tennessee. He said of his official visit, "It was very nice. I liked the campus and the academics." He went on to say of the program, "I think they are an awesome program and I think next year and the year after that they are going to be really good."
The Blue Raiders seemed to impress Conway on his trip and have given him a little bit better idea about the campus, program and players. The top competition for Middle Tennessee is coming from soon to be conference rival Western Kentucky. Conway, who has an official visit planned to Western Kentucky for this upcoming weekend, said of the Hilltoppers, "They have a nice campus and the football facilities are top notch and the game atmosphere is awesome too."
As for trying to compare the two schools Conway said, "I am going to see how the players are and whether I can play with them. I want to compare what the coaches are like and compare their academics." He went on to say of his impending visit to Western Kentucky, "I'm looking forward to it a lot."
The decision may be coming by the end of month according to Conway. He explained, "I was going to try and make one before Thanksgiving. I'm not making any promises, but that's my goal." As for what he will look for in his decision he said, "Whatever school I go to it has to be the decision for the rest of my life. I want to try and come back to Nashville and get a job, so I am going to try and learn about the alumni."
