Find out the latest with Germantown-Houston quarterback Nathan Jolley, 6-2, 200 pounds. Find out which schools are after him the most and what he hopes to be able to do this Friday night against Memphis-Bolton.

Nathan Jolley, 6-2, 200 pound quarterback form Germantown-Houston reported,“Right now I would say Louisiana Tech, Arkansas State, Duke, Marshall, Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, and Southern Illinois are sending the most information right now. I’m hoping to hear from Tulsa and Oklahoma State soon.”

Jolley took in several summer camps in order to get his name out there and show off his skills to coaches across the Southeast. He plans on trying to get on campus to a few schools to check things out again and hopefully see a game day atmosphere. He listed the schools he hopes to visit as, “Middle Tennessee, Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, and Louisiana Tech.”

One school he has already visited is Louisiana Tech. Jolley said of the program, “I was very impressed with them. I liked it a lot down there.”

Early in the spring he took in a visit to Western Kentucky and came away impressed. He explained, “I went up to Western Kentucky back in the spring for their junior day and it went well. They had beautiful new facilities.”

The first few performances of the season will be crucial to Jolley and his team. He hopes having some big games will show schools that he is a skilled quarterback and may possibly lead to an offer. He said of his performance last week against Memphis-Bartlett, “I was nine of fifteen passing for 107 yards and two touchdowns. I had a 28 yard touchdown pass called back also. I rushed the ball seven times for 77 yards and a touchdown.”

He spoke a little about his mechanics, throwing ability, and route throwing. He commented, “I feel comfortable throwing it all. I threw a nice long touchdown pass against Memphis-Bartlett.”

As far as the game this week Jolley feels good about his team’s chances. He explained, “I think we should come out strong again. I think a big part will come out to our line and how they play. They played great last weekend and if they come out strong again I expect us to be successful. Memphis-Bolton will be a great challenge because they are very athletic and I just hope we can pull it out on them.”
