Find out more about Mark Mulloy, 6-3, 240 pound tight end from Nashville-Father Ryan and the schools showing him interest. Mulloy talks about the schools showing the most interest and the 2008 season.

Mark Mulloy reported, “Right now I’m getting interest from Western Kentucky, UCF, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, and Connecticut.” He added, “I went to camp at Auburn, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee this summer.”

The summer camp circuit began for Mulloy in Knoxville. He said of Tennessee, “I thought it was awesome. Their facilities were the nicest of any of the camps that I went to this summer.”

In June he was able to take in a camp visit to Auburn and came away impressed with the competition. He explained, “Auburn by far had the best athletes and the best competition of all the camps. I thought it was a great school as well.”

One school that has been after Mulloy since his junior season is Vanderbilt. He commented, “I really like the coaching staff and offensive coordinator Ted Cain. I really like his coaching style.” Mulloy reported that the Commodore staff would like to get more film on him of his senior season.

Mulloy hopes Father Ryan will be able to pick up on the success they had in 2007 with a better season in 2008. He said, “I want to win state. I don’t really want to settle for anything less than that. I think it is really within our reach we are just going to have to work hard and come together.”

He said of his goals for his performance this season, “I want to contribute to our team winning ball games. I am excited about being a part of a team and I am ready to contribute to the team.” He added of the new offense, “I like the fact we are going to spread the field. I think if we run it the way we can it is going to help us out a lot.”
