Tenn. TE Picks Up Three New Offers

Thad McHaney, 6-2, 200 pound tight end from Brentwood-Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) picked up three new offers. Find out the latest schools to offer McHaney and what he thinks about each.

Thad McHaney reported, "I've been offered by Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and most recently Marshall, Oregon, and Oklahoma."

He said of Marshall, "They are an up and coming program. I am curious to learn more about them in the future. I like the coaches. They seem very genuine."

Another school after the Brentwood tight end is Oregon. He explained, "They have great facilities and a great program. They were in the mix last year and then the quarterback got hurt. They are very sincere and I'm curious to learn more about them as well. It might be an official visit around October."

Oklahoma is another school after McHaney. He commented, "I like the tradition and it's a great program. They have real good facilities and it seems like they are in a BCS bowl every year. The coaches are real good. It seems like a college town."

As far as having a leader he commented, "Not right now. Everybody is in the mix. I'm keeping my options open so I can make the right decision for myself and my family."
