This past Sunday Walker visited Middle Tennessee State and said, "I like Middle Tennessee because the coaches, the campus, and I like the atmosphere down there. I went to camp there yesterday. It went pretty good and I liked it." Walker explained, "Yeah I think so. I think I had a good day yesterday. It was a one day camp and they had a circuit of position drills and one on one. There had to be 250 to 300 people up there."
Another school showing interest in Walker is Western Kentucky. Walker commented, "I have talked to coach Wells, the offensive line coach up there. I will be up there for a summer camp for probably just one day."
Walker is also receiving interest from Georgia Tech. He said, "That is going to be one of my summer camps. I really like the offensive line coach, I know it's a good academic school and it's pretty close to home." He talked about Georgia Tech's interest by saying, "They came to talk to me at the field house and invited me to camp."
One of the SEC schools giving Walker a lot of attention is Vanderbilt. Walker said of Vanderbilt, "I know it's a good academic school and I talk to coach Logo. I'm going to come up for their summer camp too."
He spoke of his senior season and his plans to show his on the field strengths. He listed his strengths as, "My feet, run blocking and my leadership ability." Walker feels he team could be strong this season. He commented, "On offense we should be pretty strong. We have quite a few skill guys coming back."
