Jebb Lenhart, a 6’4, 295-pound offensive guard prospect from Pigeon Forge-(Tenn.) spoke about the schools recruiting him. He also talked about his plans to attend camps this summer and his goals for his senior season.

Jebb Lenhart reported of having offers, “No sir I do not.” He added he is being recruited by, “Tennessee, Louisiana State University, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Virginia, Middle Tennessee State University, and Southern Mississippi.”

Lenhart said of Tennessee, “It’s where I’m from. I’ve always been a pretty big fan. I went to their junior day and I really liked it. They invited me back to their camp on June 13th and 14th. They came to a couple of my scrimmages and one practice in the spring.”

Another in state school after Lenhart is Middle Tennessee State University. He commented, “They are also close to home and they’ve been real active recruiting my school. They invited me to their junior day, but I took the ACT so I couldn’t go, but they also invited me back to their camp on the first of June, which I’m going to.”

“I really liked it. The coaching staff was nice, they had a great weight room, and I liked the atmosphere pretty good.” explained Lenhart of Mississippi State.

As far as the characteristics Lenhart is looking for he said, “Weight program means a lot to me and a chance to start freshman and sophomore year.”

Even though he does not have his first offer he has been able to organize the schools recruiting him. He said, “Start with number one Tennessee, Mississippi State, Virginia, Middle Tennessee State University, and Louisiana State University.”

In addition to Tennessee and Middle Tennessee’s camps he added, “I plan to go to Virginia and Miss. St. maybe.”

Lenhart commented of his team, “I think we’re going to be really good. Maybe 7-3 and go to the playoffs. We seem to be getting used to our second year coach and really doing well in his system.”

He expressed his goals, “Just to be a major factor in our games, play my hardest, improve, and get ready for college.” Lenhart said, “My strengths are my quickness, size, strength, and aggressiveness because I really like to hit people.”
