Bruins’ rushing beats Raptors

BRENTWOOD — As much as the football teams at Brentwood and Ravenwood talked about their backs being against the wall heading into Friday night’s Region 6-5A game you’d think it would have been played in a linen closet.

The Bruins saw to it that the walls closed in a little more on the Raptors.

Brentwood got a 10-yard touchdown run from senior Alex Holling on its first play in overtime to prevail 19-16 and send defending 5A state champion Ravenwood to its third loss of the season.
