Vandy in hunt for JPII’s Tate

Vanderbilt is battling the big boys of college football for the services of prep standout Golden Tate of Pope John Paul II, and it’s a fight Tate’s coach said the Commodores are waging nobly. ______________________________________________

JPII coach Jeff Brothers, a former Vanderbilt football player, expects VU to remain in the race until the end with Tate, who plans to play football and baseball in college.
