Herron is a very interesting prospect. He has a great frame for the game of football.
A couple of years in a college strength and conditioning program will allow Herron the chance to be a great college football player.
Herron is pretty versatile and the staff at Central moves him around a good bit. He can play defensive end on the weak side or strong side and he has spent some time with his hand in the dirt as a defensive tackle.
A very talented pass rusher, Herron is more than just a one trick pony. He does a nice job of using his hands to shed blocks and stop ball carriers for little to no gain.
Herron has a very bright future on the college level. With his athleticism, size and tackling ability, he should earn a spot in the rotation on the defensive line early in his career.
