"It is a great honor to be the top prospect because there are so many good players in Tennessee," said Jalen Ramsey. "I still have to go out and prove myself though and play like the best at all times."
Ramsey knows there comes a little extra pressure when you sit on top of a list like this.
"I have an 'X' on my back and every competitor wants to be no. one, so they will come after me. It doesn't effect me at all though. I like the challenge, and I am just going to play my game."
The 5-foot-11, 180 pound corner out of Brentwood (Tn.) Brentwood Academy has committed to play for the USC Trojans, but that hasn't slowed other schools down.
"Florida, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Washington, Ole Miss, and Alabama are still coming hard. UCLA and Texas have jumped in there too, but I am a strong commitment to USC."
Ramsey will likely take some visits, but he is not sure where he will go yet.
